BNGKL Sungai Penchala

Heading towards TTDI to meet my colleague, but since it still early and we haven’t take anything for lunch, we decide to eat something cheap but worth the bucks. There are places in TTDI which is worth to try, but we want something different. Something that we think it’s even cheaper and satisfying.  And i remember my colleague was pestering us to try this new joint called BNGKL ( Bengkel or workshop ) .

So what’s BNGKL is all about? Their Pamphlet will tell you in details what is it all about. They even have a website!!( http://www.bngkl.my/ ) But for us, what matters is the FOOD!

File_000(2)Their history is on their “Nasi bungkus”…creative!

When we first step in, we are not sure how to order cause the whole concept are pretty much new to us. But as we look and see how people are ordering, then we understand we need to either choose from their available menu, or by a la carte . Of course, being a first timer, we wanna try everything. So what do we get?

2016-05-12 13.50.59And my favourite Ikan Patin Masak Lemak Tempoyak. A must have! (Patin on board previously located at Rasta TTDI, but now here in BNGKL!)

2016-05-12 13.55.56Last but not least… sambal tempoyak! Yummy!!!

For a basic price of RM6.50 for a grilled beef set, you cannot ask for more. I wouldn’t mind coming back for more and especially their Ikan patin too. I’ve always been a fan of ikan patin, so knowing that Patin on Board now are together with BNGKL, it would be a total complete meal for a good, affordable lunch for me.

So what do you guys think? Give them a try! They are open for lunch everyday except Sunday from 11am – 4pm . I definitely will come again for their good ol’ grilled beef and Ikan patin!!!
