Attended a 2 day workshop in Royale Chulan Hotel recently.
I have been here a few times but never had a chance to stay here. It’s located not far from Pavillion.
There were many people during lunch, so I didn’t get to take many pics.
Food was running out fast and the staff were trying their best to refill the empty trays.
Tuna and salmon sashimi weren’t so fresh.
The prawn tempura was good.
The popiah was too spicy.
Besides, the sambal inside was not spread properly.

At the dessert station, they have ice kacang, waffles, cakes and a variety of kuih.
The chocolate pudding was good.
I was happy that they have tapai pulut.

The Japanese food station was closed.
I guess it’s because there were more people on that day.

Verdict: Foodwise, I was spoilt for choice as there were huge array of food. In terms of taste, it was nothing to shout about. There was a long queue at the chicken rice station as nobody was there to chop the chicken. All staff were trying their best to cope with the large crowd. Quality of sashimi was not up to par.
