Craving for some home cooked food?
We highly recommend this place which is near Bukit Bintang.
It’s a little tricky to find this place….
Here’s a map on it’s menu.
List of food and price.
This is what we have ordered on that day…
Butter Kailan (RM10.00)
Chopped kailan and fried till crunchy.
I think some pounded udang kering (dried shrimps) are added in there too.
Crispy fried egg (small – 3 eggs).
Must order this.
The white egg is fried till crispy while the yolk is still running.
Goes so well with white rice.
Stir fried Thai style fish.
Can’t remember the price.
It was ok, fish was cooked well.
Crispy fried fish with chili oil.
Not sure what’s the name of the fish.
It’s flat with little flesh.
Eat it while it’s hot.
Nice and crunchy.
Petai squid and prawn (RM16.00).
This was so good….maybe it’s because I love petai 😛
The prawns are fresh.
Compliments to the chef
Nyonya cendol (Large – RM 2.50, Small – RM1.00)
Another must order item.
A perfect end for the night.
Simple cendol with red beans and the right amount of gula melaka and coconut milk.
Don’t think there’s any evaporated milk because we couldn’t taste them.
It didn’t taste too sweet, just perfect.
Verdict: It has become our favourite makan place. Friendly staff. Good food. The food price is also reasonable, considering that it is located in tourist area. I don’t mind going there just to have the crispy fried egg or the cendol.
